Check out the JULY challenge over at the ABC Christmas Challenge blog. N is for No Stamping...which is totally something I can do...This is where you find your pattern papers with a beautiful scenery....make a flat shaker card...and finish with a glimmer cardstock die cut sentiment...Voila!!! So excited to be using the vintage snowflake confetti and again - repurposing cellophane packaging. Card Goal = 133 + 3 = 136. Also, entering these cards into Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge...and Just Add Ink's latest Christmas in July theme challenge.

Merry Christmoose...WINNER

Up next is Claire's Hip to be Square sketch challenge from Sunday Stamps...my rendition..with a new to me whimsical Moose from Whipper Snapper. Inked, coloured and fussy cutted for the Christmas cards...one paired with buffalo plaid pattern paper..the last few sheets (huge sigh) and the other a zig zag pattern paper. Dusted with dazzling diamonds and finished with tiny red gems for the berries. Sentiment is Stampin Up - white embossing powder on black card stock and punched out. Card goal = 131 + 2 = 133.

Christmas Penguin Windows...

So the latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge had me stumped and whilst I was chatting with my bestie about the sketch... as I'm not into florals at the moment...but we talked about snowflakes and a window...and the idea(s) morphed into this card...I wanted a window without the crossbars so that you could see the penguin...Used iridescent paper for the snowflake chain and the ice skating pond. Shakers are a must with windows! ;) Voila! card goal = 129 + 2 = 131. Also entering these cards into Love Those Pretty Paper Challenge.

Christmas Dancin' Penguins

Hat trick with the latest sketch challenge from Christy over at The Paper Players. with Just Add Ink's theme challenge - Christmas in July and last but not least...the ABC Christmas Challenge with N is for no stamping..(with the card on the left). Tried the new to me Spellbinder Dancin' Penguin dies to make a couple Christmas cards for the stash. Embossed the white layer with one of my fave Sizzix snowflake embossing folders. Used more of my supplies from the vintage stash. Card Goal = 127 + 2 + 129 cards.

beary merry christmas...

Mission: Freshly Made Sketches' latest sketch challenge from Jen M... Inked up the Pooh Wreath..coloured and fussy cutted..sprinkled some red gems for the berries. Layered on a white speckled -red foil glimmer circle dut cut. Added the topper to the card with foam tape. Stamped the "beary merry christmas" sentiment with white embossing powder on black cardstock so that it would pop! Voila! Card goal = 126 + 1 = 127 cards.

Celebrate shakers...

Inspiration from the latest sketch challenge over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.. Found some more vintage pattern papers in the stash and upcycling more of the cellophane packaging..Celebrate flat shakers for the win. Shadowed the Celebrate sentiment to "pop" the sentiment on the card front. Flipped the sketch to vertical alignment to better showcase the sentiment. Entering these cards also into Love Those Pretty Papers challenge to help with my 2026 goal to put a serious dent into the vintage pattern paper trove of mine. Card goal = 123 + 3 = 126 cards.

Vintage Merry Snowmen...

Thought I would give Jen T's sketch a try over at Freshly Made Sketches. Started with the embossed snowflakes on the white layer. Inked, stamped and coloured the vintage snowman images..masked the snowman so I could sponge and soften the white sky - if that makes sense. Added some teeny iridescent snowflake sequins. Finished with framing the image. Added foam tape to the framed image and sentiment for more depth. Card Goal = 121 + 2 = 123.
